Join a health center whose vision it is to innovate how psychiatry is provided and made accessible in the community. Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) is hiring: 

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Join our growing Integrated Behavioral Health team and provide direct psychiatric care, evaluation, and psychopharmacology treatment to Health Center patients.

At PCHC, PMHNPs are members of the clinical practice team and work collaboratively with other team members in providing patient care.  Our weekday outpatient practice affords great work/life balance and our HRSA Mental Health score of 23 provides an excellent opportunity for loan repayment! 

Qualifications: 

  • A candidate for this position must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in psychiatry. 
  • Must be licensed to practice Advanced Practice Nursing in Rhode Island or be license eligible.
  • Maintain ongoing professional education as mandated by state regulation. Maintain appropriate hospital privileges in accordance with PCHC policies and the agency’s scope of service.
  • Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number to furnish controlled substances.
